2021 Living Legend Award Winner

Culley C. Carson III, MD, FACS, FRCS (hon)

Culley C. Carson III is the Emeritus Rhodes Distinguished Professor in the UNC Department of Urology. Dr. Carson specializes in the area of Men’s Health, including the treatment of Peyronie’s Disease and Erectile Dysfunction. His research is also focused in the area of Men’s Health, including Erectile Dysfunction, Peyronie’s Disease, and penile prostheses. He has published more than two hundred peer review publications and edited several textbooks. While Dr. Carson is retired, he still takes an active role in UNC’s Men’s Health Initiatives and Dr. Carson currently serves in a number of national and international professional capacities. Dr. Carson has also been consistently recognized by his peers as among the Best Doctors in America in Urology.
