Bio:

My care is always geared towards YOU. However, I think it may be beneficial for you to understand some things about me so you can feel more comfortable with my services.

My goal is always to help you have a better quality of life from a multitude of standpoints. First and foremost, deal with any acute problems. Secondly, keep you safe with screening guidelines from a cancer standpoint. Lastly, enhance your quality of life from urination or sexual standpoint if you have issues with this.

Wisdom comes with experience, and boy have I had some experience. Although I may still be young, in the grand scheme of things, I have had my fair share of life experience. I grew up in a small village called Roscoe, Illinois. Back when I grew up in this area it was mostly cornfields and the total population was only 6000 people, now it is a bustling 11,000 people and somewhat like a Suburb of a major City, approximately 1-1.5 hours North West of Chicago. Most of my family still resides in the Northern Illinois, Southern Wisconsin area.

Coming from a blue-collar family I ultimately was able to get good enough grades in high school, despite my participation in football and swimming, to be able to attend and graduate from the University of Illinois with a double major in Psychology and Molecular and Cellular Biology. The summer before I started medical school, I was lucky enough to have been able to participate in Collegiate Nationals for the sport of Triathlon as well as completing a Half Ironman 70.3-mile triathlon. I then went on to attend Rush Medical College at Rush University Medical Center on the West side of Chicago for medical school education. I was lucky to be able to travel to Guatemala during medical school to work in medical clinics and learn medical Spanish. This was a very rewarding experience for me, and while in Guatemala I was also able to learn of my passion for hiking in the mountains. After this, I was accepted into a surgical internship and residency for Urologic Surgery at the University of Southern Florida in Tampa, Florida. During my time in residency, I was blessed to be able to participate in a surgical trip to Haiti. We were able to provide almost 80 procedures on 50 patients in 5 days of operating. Also, during my time in residency, I was blessed to be able to work with 1 of the best surgeons in the field of Men's Sexual Health, Rafael E. Carrion MD. Beyond working with Dr. Carrion, I further have been blessed to operate and train with Dr. Paul Perito, Dr. Steve Wilson, Dr. Gerard Henry, Dr. John Mulcahy, Dr, Tariq Hakky, and Dr. Robert Valenzuela and many others within the field of Men's Sexual Health throughout my training process. I have participated in numerous research studies including national meeting presentations, journal article submission, and video presentations. Beyond my residency training, I also participated in a clinical research fellowship sponsored by Boston Scientific and Dr. Gerard Henry and continue to contribute to research within the field in my current practice.

In my clinical practice, I really like to treat patients for quality of life problems like low Testosterone, Erectile Dysfunction, Peyronie's Disease, enlarged prostate or BPH or other issues with male sexual dysfunction or urination issues, but I am happy to treat and help any patient that has a urologic problem over the age of 16.
