Dr. LeRoy Jones has been focused on Men’s Health for over 20 years. He opened the first Mens’ Health Center in San Antonio, Texas almost 10 years ago. The purpose of this clinic was to provide exceptional care to men with specific needs regarding testosterone replacement therapy, erectile dysfunction and Peyronie’s Disease. He was one of the first in the country to study Xiaflex usage prior to FDA approval. He is a clinical Professor of Urology at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and was a partner at Urology San Antonio for 18 years.
Dr. Jones recently relocated to Austin, Texas to join Dr. Bryan Kansas at Urology Austin. Dr. Jones will help develop a new Men’s Health Center that will serve both central and south Texas. Dr. Jones and Dr. Kansas were both recently awarded a designated Center of Excellence for penile prosthesis surgery. Dr. Jones has personally performed over 3500 prosthetic procedures which includes penile prosthesis and artificial urinary sphincters. He has operated in 26 countries throughout the world. He remains very passionate about urologic education, he is the current director of surgical education for the Society of Urologic Prosthetic Surgeons and a previous President of this society. He is an active member of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America. He continues to perform clinical research and is helping with the development of the electronic penile prosthesis.
Dr. Jones received his MD degree from Washington University in St Louis. His surgical and urologic training was completed at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, respectively.
